Hello! Wow LJ has changed alot since I last posted! Hope everyone is doing well..
I'm have an interview for a new job tomorrow over at River Dell Regional Schools for a job as a comp tech!! Wish me luck..
Yeah... nothing else is really new, been busy working (last day was friday) and playing shows!!

Our cover band FreeShotz is playing tomorrow night (technically today) at 10PM at the Speakeasy in Belleville. We go on at around 10 and finish around 1-2AM. Should be alot of fun! We'll have a great 3 45 minute set for you guys to enjoy! I haven't seen most ppl on my list (which isn't that many people) in a long ass time! If you guys have the time! Come check us out! It'll be alot of FUN. BTW, my name under FreeShotz is "Princess Dai".. go figure... thats what they gave me lol

Our cover band, FreeShotz, Will be performing at SpeakEasy in Belleville on 4/7/06!! Bring your friends and drinkin buddies along because this will be a HOT show for us! Great bar, HUGE stage and lots of drink specials! we should be playing a great 2-3 hour set for you guys!!!! If you need directions, check them out Here! Hope everyone can make it!!

Rusty (Serin's drummer) and I've been working on some side songs in my basement room. So far it's about 95% completed. I do actually want to re-record my vocal parts (yes, I sing... kinda...)
Check it out by clicking Here. I did the singing parts and the bass parts, and Rusty did the screams and the guitars. Drums were done by both of us. I've spent a good month mixing and getting the sound right (limited supplies in my basement).

AS SERIN : 3/31 - Axis Lounge

As far as the band goes, we will be going in to Pre-Production with our new engineer Mike. We've been quoted around $5000 for the whole recording process, then another $1000 for mastering then another $1000 or so to get printed. We've been constantly playing/rehearsing/writing. We're completing our new song and also have another one in the works. Very exciting indeed. As far as the cover band side goes, we're under management now. We will be fully launching shows with the cover band asap. We've only learned about 3 hours worth of material, so we need to get off our asses and learn bunch more song lol. Again, thanks to all of the peepz that came out to the 3/18th cover show!
On another note, i'll be quitting my job. Applying for Cingular's Advanced Network Services.
Ugh, played some Tennis with Billy, haven't played tennis in years which makes my body sore.. ah~

Show on Friday was awesome!! We drew about 60+ ppl for our set. Thanks for all of you (Alana, Stacy, Jeff, Midori on LJ) for coming out. I'm glad you loved our set. It's always cool to see come out to support us. More shows to come, this is only our first.
Saturday: Ivo, Mish, and I went to see The Model (JUliet's brother Markie's band) in Philly. Good times.. thats about it |

Forgot to mention it here. Our band Serin will be performing at the Axis Lounge in Carlstadt on 1/27/06 with "With Daggers Drawn" and "My Only Hope". We've been heavily writing new material (3 songs in the last couple of weeks). Come check us out.
